Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification

RC Health Services’ Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification builds on previous lifesaving skills, including Basic Life Support certification.

ACLS certification is for health professionals who need further or ongoing training in the highest quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques as well as the importance of implementing advanced systems of care, cardiopulmonary arrest intervention, post-cardiac arrest management, stroke recognition and management, acute dysrhythmia, and acute coronary syndromes.

ACLS Students will learn prompt recognition and management of cardiac arrest emergencies and their complications, in addition to the administration of lifesaving medicines.

ACLS training is reserved for only these types of qualified health professionals as emergencies involving advanced cardiopulmonary life support typically require the administration of IV drugs. A critical patient may also have to be intubated.
